The Bees’ Knees is a local honey producer in my hometown of Columbus, Georgia. Yvonne, the owner, is a lovely and passionate lady when it comes to her honey who values quality over quantity when it comes to providing Pure AND Raw Honey. There is a difference people, look it up!
Anyhow, Yvonne also has a thing for the Roaring 20s and especially the Flappers. The term The Bees’ Knees is also derived from the era. So when it came to creating a comprehensive brand identity, what better strategy than to blend her passions into a sassy little honey bee! The typography is also reminscent of the 20s, more specifically the arts and crafts movement. A movement that also understood the value in quality and craftsmanship. As Yvonne said, the end result is “just dahling!”
